A STYLE OF MY OWN

Often times we see people whether in school, at work, church, or even on the streets whos style makes us jealous. i remember when i was in high school. i thought that i was very unfashionable and often tried to copy the styles of others. obviously this failed. you cannot copy anyones style. sometimes we try soooo hard to look fashionable. but thats the thing.....stop trying. i find that i look my best when i decide to throw anything on, and get out the door. find your INSPIRATION....and make it your OWN. style does not come overnight.....but it will come.....i know that im still waiting

FITTING IN

When i was younger, i struggled to fit in..... i still have this struggle today. its not that i dont fit in, its just that my personality is not as welcoming as other people. i dont walk into a room and command attention. i dont say quirky and cute things to those i dont know. im just there. if you speak to me i may reply.... or i will just make a little noise to acknowledge your presence. everyone is different. we say that but do we really believe so? then why do we get upset when someone does not respond to us the way we expect? why do we create friends based on their fashion sense and prejudge others who arent as fashionable? if everyone is different, why do we all look the same, sound the same, and do the same things?
when i was younger, i struggled to fit in....i still have this struggle today. am i different?

This is the song that describes exactly how i feel about fashion. my friends always make fun of my for liking this song, however the words have a deeper meaning and if read carefully, maybe they would understand too......

IN THE BEGINNING
